I want to share my experience as an audience member of Theresa G’s black female history re-enactment performances.
First, Ms. G is providing our community with a unique historical form of entertaining and authentic view. For each historic person she portrays, her well researched characters come alive. She dresses as these important women did, and speaks as they did. I think you will feel as I did- taken to another place and moment in our past.
I highly recommend Ms. G’s unique contributions to our historical memories.
To watch Theresa G is like taking a step back in time. Her is singing is lively, her story telling of black female pioneers is something of wonder. She is so engaging that you feel transported in time with her. Your children will enjoy her performances also as she engages them in the show. If you have the opportunity to go to an event she is performing in, do not miss it.
